Hey there! My name is Max Kearns, I am a 19 year old freelance photographer from Cape Breton, NS.
I have always had an interest in photos and editing but never learned how it's done until August of 2023, when I was gifted my first camera to learn more about the art and try it for myself, luckily for me, I was a part of the 2023 Saint Mary's Huskies Football team, giving me many opportunities to practice and take some shots of my teammates during their training sessions, as well as other school sport activities, which made me fall in love with the art.
Over the past year, I have grown a lot as a Photographer, my passion for the art encouraged me to learn in any way possible, from watching countless amount of videos to speaking with numerous talented photographers and asking questions, as I am eager to grow.
Living in Cape Breton has helped me a lot, as there are endless views, animals, and overall attractions, keeping me active in the summer as I never knew what I may come across.
As an athlete, and someone who has grown up in the music/event scene, I have a good understanding of what moments should be captured, paying attention to Lighting, Emotions, Celebrations, and more!
I do my best to take my ideas as well as my client's into consideration before each photoshoot to result in a happy customer.
